We only provide complementary therapies that are safe for use during pregnancy. We will always discuss with you any medical history and pregnancy experiences so that we have a full picture of your medical background. This will allow us to ensure any treatments undertaken are suitable for your specific needs and situation.
Complementary therapies are safe providing they are carried out by a professional after a thorough consultation to ensure your specific circumstances are aligned with the requirements for undertaking the treatment. We advise you always check the qualifications and credentials of anyone you are receiving complementary pregnancy therapies from.

There can sometimes be side affects during the healing process of complementary therapies. These will be discussed with you before the treatment. We will ensure you have all of the important information as well as aftercare guidance.

Due to the fact that the treatment is tailored for each individual, most people are able to receive complementary therapy treatment. However, there are a few exceptions to this. We may not be able to treat you If you have or are experiencing any of the following:
Epilepsy
Insulin dependant diabetes
Medical conditions which are complex or ongoing
Cancer
Suffering with infections or bleeding of any kind
If your pregnancy has any complications.

Our appointments last for around one hour, with consultation time usually taking another 15 minutes.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please give us as much notice as possible.
